Christmas Card Pictures

In fairness to Roman, we won't be posting the pictures of his Santa debacle.  We will post some of the pictures that didn't make the cut for this years Christmas card!  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

Roman's First Trip to Meet Santa

This weekend Roman went to get his picture taken with Santa for the first time.  The picture posted is when he was still smiling.  Roman didn't get along with Santa too well.  He just couldn't figure out who this strange, bearded fat man in a red suit was.  We'll post the Santa pictues as soon as we get them back.  Merry Christmas!!

Roman's First Thanksgiving!!

Roman had a great time at his first Thanksgiving dinner.  He got to play with Uncle Andy's new puppy and of course he got to eat lots of turkey.  Happy Thanksgiving!!

Disappointed Browns Fan!

As you can see from the picture, Roman and Grandma are big Cleveland Browns fans.   Unfortunately for him, the Browns are having another disappointing season.  Oh well, there is always next year!!

Roman's First Halloween

Roman had the best time trick-or-treating!! He was the hit of the neighborhood. He got lots of candy for Mom and Dad to eat. He had a great time checking out all the halloween decorations and the other kids costumes. He can't wait until next Halloween!!

Roman's Halloween Kitty!!

Here is a picture of Roman and his big kitty that Grandma and Grandpa Bruno bought him.  He loves it!  He has to see it every night before he goes to sleep.  He can't wait to wear his dinosaur costume for trick or treat on Friday!

Roman's Big Tractor Ride

This weekend Roman took his first ride with Dad on the tractor.  He had a great time cruising around the yard.  He did a great job steering and making the tractor go fast!!

Roman and Friends

Hi everyone!  Roman is doing great.  Today he got dressed up for picture day with his class at day care.  He also took some time to pose with his favorite four-legged friends  (Laney & Riley).  Later on he went to play at the playground with Mom and Dad.  As you can see from the pictures he is quite a climber.  Bye for now. 

Apple Picking

Roman went to pick apples with Mommy & Daddy this weekend.  Roman loved the Gala apples.  He had a great time.  He's going back next weekend to get some Honeycrisp apples.  Roman continues to bring lots of joy to the whole family!

Cousin Reunion Update

This past weekend Roman got to meet the rest of his cousins. Roman went to an amusement park and had a ball. He also had a great birthday party with his family!!

Roman is doing great! Check out this picture. He loves his sunglasses!! This weekend we're going to the Cousin Reunion to see the rest of the family for the first time. They can't wait to meet Roman!

At the Zoo Again!!

Today we went to visit the zoo again. Roman had a great time with Mommy and Daddy. It was a gorgeous day. Roman got to see the elephants, the rhinos and tons of other cool animals.

Roman also enjoyed going on a mullet hunt with Dad while at the zoo. They spotted a very rare Long Tailed Grey Zoo Mullet (see picture). Hope you like the pictures!!

Fiesta!!

This week Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. Roman took Grandma to his favorite Mexican restaurant for a Mexican feast. Roman had a great time and even got to wear a sombrero. Arriba!!!

Sorry for the delay and lack of posts! As you can imagine, we have our hands full.

Roman visited Grandma Sue for her birthday this year. He went to a 4th of July Parade and had a great time. He also got to visit with Auntie Ange for the first time!! Everyone had a great 4th of July. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Roman Update!!!

Quick update on Roman. Roman is continuing to adjust to his new home. He loves the dogs, cats and even the turtle. This weekend we are going to visit Grandma Sue and Aunt Angie for the 4th of July. Stay tuned for more updates!

Zoo Visit!!

This weekend Roman took a visit to the Columbus Zoo. Auntie Ange got the family passes for the summer. It was really hot, and most of the animals were hanging out in the shade.

Roman's Party!

This weekend Roman and Family travelled to Akron for a welcome home party with Daddy's family. Everyone had a great time. Roman did lots of swimming with his new friend Jasmine. He also got to meet a lot of his family and got lots of new toys!

PS: Roman especially liked meeting Great Aunt Phylis and he really enjoyed making sure that her hair was attached to her scalp.

Roman Pictures

Since everyone is clamoring for more pictures of Roman, here you go. Everyone is doing well. Roman is now at home in his new environment (especially the warm weather). He had a Dr. visit today with an adoption specialist and everything went well. Roman thought that having blood drawn was a little "below average" but other than that everything was good.

Update From Home

Quick update from the Home Base. Roman is doing great!! He is adjusting to his new home very well. He was a little unsure of the dogs at first, but as you can see from the picture, he is now trying to run them over with his truck.

Everyone is almost recovered from our trip. We'll keep the updates coming!

We're Home!!

We made it!! Roman thoroughly enjoyed his ride home in first class!! After some waiting in the Immigration area at the Atlanta airport, Roman officially became a US citizen.

Roman loves his new house. He' continues to explore new rooms and places. He's met the cats and is fascinated by them. The dogs will be home later this morning and I"m sure he will enjoy meeting them as well.

We'll continue to post updates on how he is doing.

Thanks everyone for all the prayers and well wishes!! It definitely helped us bring him home!

Roman's First Trip to Micky D's

Today we exposed Roman to McDonald's for the first time. As you can see from the picture, he got a Russian Happy Meal. In case you are wondering what Roman had in his happy meal, he had Chicken McNuggets, carrot sticks, and a juice box. He also got a monster truck toy which he loves.

Well, we're off to the Embassy to get our final paperwork. Stay tuned for more pictures and videos. We'll post some more during Roman's next nap!!

Moscow Update

We're still in Moscow and everyone is doing well. We took Roman to visit Red Square yesterday. Check out the video.

We're in Moscow!!

We made it to Moscow!! Roman survived his first plane ride. Mommy and Daddy barely survived!! Ha ha.

We are staying at a very nice apartment in downtown Moscow, very close to the American Embassy and Red Square. We have a few Embassy appointments later this week, and then it's USA or bust!!

By the way, in case anyone is interested, it's in the upper 30's here and was sleeting when we got off the plane!! Happy Memorial Day!

Greetings From Russia!!

Hello, we are now with Roman in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia!! We leave here on the 25th of May to head to Moscow. Once we are in Moscow, we have some Embassy appointments and then we get to come home.

As you can see from this picture, Roman is truly a Bruno. He is dining on a meal of fresh green olives and pasta!!

Getting Ready for Final Trip!!

Bruno Visit to Moscow

Back From Our Second Russia Trip!

Wendy and myself are now back from our second trip to Russia. Below are our pictures from the trip. The first part of the trip was in Moscow, and then we went off to see Roman.

Our Court Date was successful and Roman is now officially Roman Thomas Bruno!!

We leave to go back to get him on May 18th.
